Speaking of the Double 11 event the day before yesterday – the \"Shopping Festival\" is indeed a day that attracts everyone’s attention. “\"Shopping Carnival\"? I was wondering, how could a proper Singles’ Day turn into a carnival? I remember back in college, whenever Double Eleven came around, us single guys would get together, eat some skewers, drink some alcohol, and raise our glasses as we looked forward to the last \"Singles’ Day\" of our lives. We would tease each other by saying, \"You’ll probably still have to go through over 20 more Singles’ Days; once those born in the 2000s grow up, your chance will come...\" But joking aside, those born in the 2000s are indeed about to become adults now – time really flies! I can never figure out why there are so many things to buy To get rid of being single, go on a shopping spree? It seems like those who go on crazy shopping sprees are married people, right? Are there really discounts on Double 11? It’s the merchant’s trickery; don’t believe it. The sensible part of me kept my hands under control and didn’t reach for my pants pocket. It’s mainly the shopping frenzy – something that really doesn’t appeal to a guy like me who prefers science! So here, I would like to apologize to President Ma by saying that I’m sorry I couldn’t let you drink my blood; my blood isn’t very tasty, so I’m sorry about that, haha.
