I just fixed a leak with the workshop staff, and it was done without using any open flames; I’m really happy :lol
There is a hole the size of a peanut on the steam pipeline; first stop the steam flow, then seal the hole with metal glue, and finally secure it with binding tape. That’s it

We have two boosters, one in use and one as a backup. The backup machine is tested for one hour per month. This afternoon, I took the operator to test-run the backup unit; the ratchet mechanism outside the DN300 butterfly valve at the inlet of the booster pump broke. I had to rush to the warehouse to get a new butterfly valve, remove the broken ratchet mechanism and replace it. It took me an hour, and it was really frustrating! :Q
What is the purpose of running the backup machine for an hour each month?
The purpose is to prevent it from getting damaged. In addition to running for one hour per month, the oil pans are turned over once on Mondays and Thursdays.
