Hello everyone, :) This is Shanghai Muye Valves. Next to me is our sales representative, Xiao Cai:$. If my life is like a stretch of river water, calm yet still occasionally experiencing ripples or waves, then the strength of the wind—emotions such as extreme joy, sorrow, or anger—can also cause waves to form. Watching in TV dramas and in real life, how people express various emotions – sadness, joy, anger – affects their state of mind throughout the day. I’m puzzled as to why people are so easily influenced by emotions I’m the same; when I face setbacks, I feel down, lost about life, and lose motivation. The next day, I feel guilty because of this low mood, so I suddenly force myself to get going and devote myself to work without any emotions, like a robot. When I’m happy, I truly love my work, treating it as I would treat my friends and partner; I’m enthusiastic while working, humming songs and coming up with new ideas, and that’s when my productivity is at its highest. I myself can’t explain this phenomenon; it’s as though my work and life are inseparably linked to my emotions. I wish to be in a good mood every single moment. Although I’m in a good mood most of the time, I’m occasionally disturbed by bad moods. At such times, I’m like someone who has been severely injured by little demons – I need some encouragement, some support, some comfort in order to recover instantly. Why are human emotions so rich? How can we control it so that it doesn’t interfere too much with our work and personal life? My negative emotions usually fade away once that situation is over; I try to do things I enjoy, or spend time playing with my children. Seeing their beaming smiles fills me with a sense of relief and concern at the same time – I’m concerned for my little ones, as I’m not strong enough to protect them from everything. Or go for a walk, watch everyone hurrying back and forth on the streets, and feel a sense of being part of the world; feel an indescribable encouragement – inexplicable sadness only makes me slow down, and I must work harder to keep up with this world. Get rid of the bad mood, find a way to deal with it, throw it in the trash, and then refuel again. I am still, day after day, influenced by various emotions, and I try different ways to get rid of my bad moods. I believe that once I become more mature, I will be better able to control my emotions! I also hope that the seniors here can offer some advice. Thank you!
Many people find themselves in this situation: living in the present and approaching what happens to them with rationality!
Thank you! I actually understand all these principles; it’s probably just that I lack enough experience and can’t stay calm that easily. Are there any books you can recommend? Books that help one find peace of mind
The past is behind us; there’s no need to dwell on it or worry about it. As the moderator said, live in the present.
I recommend a TV series called \"Years\"
Okay, I’ll look it up after work. Thank you!
