The water temperature of a water-jet vacuum pump has a direct impact on the level of vacuum; what methods are used to address this issue regarding water temperature?
A heat exchanger can be added at the water injection inlet. The cooling medium can be chilled water (7°C inlet to 12°C outlet)

Agreed. However, depending on the required vacuum level, the temperature at the inlet of the jet pump is controlled; in some cases, direct process water is used in a cycle through a cooling tower, while in other cases deep well water is utilized
The vacuum pumps used in our factory operate for about 7 hours per cycle; the water temperature is around 40 degrees, and deep well water is used for heat exchange, which yields excellent results and is cost-effective.
Our factory uses shell-and-tube heat exchangers for cooling; if the water temperature gets too high, we simply change the water
Use your own process water with a high salt content under vacuum
Water temperature is a factor that affects vacuum level; then does density also affect it? If density does influence vacuum level, will adding salt to create a saltwater solution with higher density increase the vacuum level?
For small systems, it’s sufficient to simply change the water. Or if it operates intermittently, natural cooling is sufficient
