Staff in the department visiting each other and making noise

Our is the Technical Department, and across from it is the Comprehensive Department. Our department head is often away, and people from the opposite department frequently come by our department. What’s unbearable is the loud noise, phone calls, chatting, and all the giggling. They make such noise while looking at the technical documents in the Technology Department that it’s impossible to study*. It’s not right to talk about them among colleagues. How does everyone handle such situations? ?

Close the door; if that doesn’t work, close the door on the opposite side as well. If it still doesn’t help, tell me where you work – the sound insulation of your room doors does not meet the required standards. I will report this to the relevant authorities so that they can come and check it.
