It’s New Year’s Eve today; I walked around the company office in the morning, and as soon as I got off work at noon, my wife called and asked me to hurry back to her parents’ house to have the New Year’s meal. Although her parents’ house isn’t far away – only about 8 kilometers from the company – I still felt eager to go home. I got on my bicycle and set off. There wasn’t much scenery to see; there were fields along the road. No matter how urgent it was, it was necessary to follow traffic rules and wait for the traffic lights. Along the way, I bought some firecrackers for my child – they’re not available in the city area. Once I entered the city, I took a couple of photos at the park I passed by; I was almost home.
