Regarding the settings of the top loop

May I ask what is the difference in adjustment between setting top circulation and setting reflux at the top of the tower? Is the function the same? I feel that top circulation only obtains heat. Top circulation and top extraction are equivalent to setting up cold reflux. Why do some devices set up top circulation without cold reflux, such as the coking fractionation tower in our factory? I don’t know what to consider in doing so. Can someone give me some advice? . . :handshake
I don’t quite understand what LZ means. Doesn’t the circulation at the top of the tower go out from the top of the tower and then return to the top of the tower? Isn’t the material coming back cold reflux?
