On the evening of March 9th, Beijing time, the second round of the 2018 Chinese Super League took place; Guangzhou Evergrande Taobao won 5-0 at home against Changchun Yatai, securing Evergrande’s first victory in this new season of the league. In the first 50 minutes, the two teams were evenly matched; Yatai created several threatening attacks through Ihalo and Tan Long, but failed to capitalize on them ； In the 52nd minute, Gao Lin scored a goal to break the deadlock, after which Goulart scored two goals in quick succession; Alan also scored twice in the later stages of the match.
Gao Lin’s attacks in internal battles are quite powerful.
In recent years, Evergrande seems to have declined in the AFC Champions League; its attacking power is clearly not as strong as it was in previous years； It seems that in the domestic league, it’s still possible to bully the teams that rank lower.
