At 00:00 Beijing time on March 12 (4:00 PM local time in the UK on March 11), the 30th round of the 2017/18 Premier League season took place. Tottenham Hotspur secured a 4-1 away victory over Bournemouth. Son Heung-min scored twice in this match. In his last four appearances in the Premier League and UEFA Champions League, Son has netted a total of 7 goals—scoring in every single match. In the 2017-18 Premier League season, he scored 12 goals, none of which were penalties; he ranked 8th on the scoring chart. He also managed to score 4 goals in the 2017-18 UEFA Champions League. Over the course of 8 seasons in both the Premier League and Bundesliga, his total number of goals per season stands at 14. Given his current excellent form, I believe he has the potential to break his own record for most goals scored in a single Premier League season. A player like Son Heung-min surely warrants serious reflection among Chinese footballers. So, when will there be a Son Heung-min among Chinese football players?
