I would like to ask the experts on this forum: After the fiberglass storage tank was manufactured and delivered to the site, it was found that one of the connection points was at too low a level; therefore, an additional connection point needs to be created in order to meet the production requirements. I’m not sure if it’s possible to make holes in the storage tank and create nozzles If possible, what methods should be used, and what are the precautions and protective measures?
Make it a short section; just meet your original standard
It’s best not to create openings on the tank; if the position of the pipe connections is too low, you can use an elbow or some kind of short connector to address this issue, which will make it easier to meet the requirements
I also considered the method mentioned on the 3rd floor. The sediment at the bottom of the tank constitutes the final product; if only the method of adding elbows is used, losses are inevitable when draining the clear liquid
