It’s easy to see then that work occupies a very large part of our lives. Perhaps even when we talk with family and friends after work, it’s still about work. In my opinion, if you really don’t like your job, you shouldn’t try to ingratiate yourself with your boss or engage in scheming with your colleagues, as suggested by many experts. That’s too exhausting and requires too much pretense. Work is simply work. Many women these days are referred to by others as \"tough women.\" The reason for this is not only their outward appearance or masculine mindset, but also the fact that they are seen by others as indestructible individuals who remain strong and calm at all times. They have jobs that bring them comfort, stable incomes, as well as hobbies and interests that help soothe their souls. So, they always seem so carefree, as if they have no desires in this society and never need to force themselves to achieve anything; it’s enough for them to do what they consider right. They move through the world based on their own feelings and instincts. Although they may not reach what many consider a standard of comfort, they feel that this way of being and this lifestyle is sufficient. Work constitutes a large part of life. Firstly, without work we have no income and are unable to survive; Secondly, it is also an important source of emotional fulfillment for us ； When we have partners who work well with us, we feel extremely fortunate. And when we do something without even intending to, and receive praise from our supervisors, it fills us with joy for a long time. We work not for others, but to enjoy the process ourselves, to savor the sense of achievement that comes from satisfaction, and that sense of fulfillment that belongs only to us. Many people might say that when we’re lucky, we might encounter a good boss or a great company. But not everyone is that lucky. I’ve never believed that fate favors only certain people. By saying such things, you show that you’re not prepared at all; you should instead reflect on whether you lack the necessary strength to seize opportunities when they arise. So instead of just envying others’ luck, think more about their strengths and your own weaknesses, so as to learn and become better. When we are not satisfied with our job at a company, we might choose to endure it, as the situation isn’t yet severe enough to drive us to give up, and there are still things about that job that make it worth staying. But if it eventually crosses our threshold of tolerance, we should leave without hesitation. Although we are grateful for all the training we’ve received, working there day after day out of reluctance means it’s better to avoid it. I have a good friend who works at a quite ordinary food chain store. The job is actually quite simple, and she deals with customers and children on a regular basis. She really loves children, and she told us that as soon as she steps into the store every day, she becomes extremely happy. When she said this, we didn’t take it seriously; we thought it was just an ordinary job and not something that was that special. But now I realize that work occupies such a large part of our lives. If we don’t enjoy it, then our entire existence becomes devoid of joy, and what’s the point of that? In fact, she is the happiest; regardless of her salary or position, finding a job that gives her a sense of belonging is what brings her happiness. I once read a sentence that said, “Loving one’s work is also a form of love.” That’s truly true. When it comes to our relationships, there might be some unpleasant setbacks along the way, but most of the time we want to remember only the sweet moments. The same applies to work – we need to love it and be grateful for it, so that we can enjoy life better.
