Which domestic manufacturers are good at producing dry gas seals for compressors and pumps?
In my opinion: for compressors, use Tianjin Dingming or Sichuan Niki; for pumps, use Chengdu Yitong.
Sichuan Ri Ji’s products are quite good; we use their machine seals and dry gas seals here. Once there was a problem with one of the machine seals, we even asked the equipment manager and senior supervisors to go to Sichuan for an inspection, and their attitude was really good

Among dry gas seal manufacturers, Tianjin Dingming is a decent option. Originally, domestic brands dominated the market for such seals, and they performed well in both medium and low pressure applications. After being acquired by John Crane, they have also begun to receive orders for high-pressure seals, though it seems these are not produced domestically; one can inquire with them for more details. Another domestic manufacturer is Sichuan Nikki, which appears to be a joint venture. However, an employee there said that they no longer cooperate with this company; the actual situation is unclear. This company has achieved considerable success over the past three years. More recently, Chengdu Yitong has emerged as well, and it seems to have made progress in a petrochemical company in Sichuan; it’s still in the development stage. I’ve also had contact with them. Unlike the previous two companies, which have had cooperation.
As for dry gas seal manufacturers, I have been in contact with two so far. I have been using Tianjin Dingming since 1998, when I first used their products. To date, I have installed their products in 5 compressors manufactured by Shen Gu, and another 2 imported compressors have been modified to use their products. There have been 2 issues in total, but they were not related much to the sealing manufacturers. --But they do not produce seals for pumps. Dingming can be said to have had a good cooperation with us, with timely installation and maintenance services. In 2005 we got in touch with Sichuan Nikki; currently, their products are being used to upgrade an old unit, which has not yet been put into use, and we are not aware of the specific details. It seems they initially specialized in seals for pumps. The machinery factory of Liaohua seems to have manufactured dry gas seals for use within Liaohua itself, but has not done so for external clients.
