In order to actively promote the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation in the chemical industry, enhance the environmental protection and safety awareness among industry workers, boost the industry’s capacity for independent innovation, increase the supply of advanced and suitable green chemical technologies in this sector, and achieve its green transformation and upgrading; as well as to popularize knowledge about green chemistry and advance chemical science education, the Productivity Promotion Center for the Chemical Industry has decided to organize a prize-winning knowledge competition on \"Green Chemistry\" across society. I. Competition Theme: Knowledge drives industry innovation; technology promotes the green development of enterprises.
II. Organizing Units:

III. Competition Period: August 8, 2018 – September 21, 2018

Participants: Employees from enterprises and institutions in the national chemical industry and its various sub-sectors, as well as those from research institutions and universities ； Enthusiasts of chemical knowledge from various fields such as industry associations, industrial parks, and print and online media can all participate. V. Activity Content 1. During the event period, visitors can log in to the Chemical Industry Science and Technology Innovation Knowledge Service Platform (www.chem.cnki.net), the website of the Chemical Industry Productivity Promotion Center (www.cippc.org.cn), and the homepage of CNKI (www.cnki.net) to access the event pages and answer questions online. Answering on PC: http://saishi.cnki.net/ddz/wdegLWTvxo. Answering on mobile: Follow the WeChat official account (CNKI Materials and Chemical Engineering) and go to the knowledge competition section to answer questions on your phone. 2. During the event, participants can apply for free access to CNKI’s chemical industry knowledge base for online learning; meanwhile, the organizers provide free on-site training services for companies that need them. VI. Rules for Answering Questions and Award Settings: For each round of answering questions, the computer randomly selects 20 questions; each person is allowed to answer twice, with the highest score counted as the final score. A total of 323 individual awards will be given, along with 10 awards for outstanding organization (these organization awards are only available for companies). Prizes will be awarded to the individual winners, while certificates will be given to the winning companies ； VII. Others: After the announcement of the winners is made, the staff will get in touch with you within 5 working days to deliver the prizes. Participants are requested to enter their valid and real contact information on the corresponding page when answering questions, so that prizes can be awarded to them after they finish answering.
