It seems like a skill with little use, but it can add value to your career! In the workplace, some skills that may seem useless can actually add a lot to your value! Can sing, write with a brush, play basketball well, host events, perform magic, and take photos. You’re not particularly good at it either, but just because others can’t do it, you end up being good at it, which brings you unexpected surprises. . Since I need to write records, I have to use the Fangsong script. I already practiced pen writing in middle school; since I had nothing to do, I bought some practice sheets to work on my skills. Once, by helping a colleague write an invitation, I became famous and took on the task of writing invitations for more than a dozen colleagues in the area. When someone mentions being good at writing, I come to mind. There are many more things that are bright in one place but not in another. Have you ever encountered a seemingly trivial skill that brings you more benefits than your main job?
I was a member of the class volleyball team in college; my skills weren’t outstanding. But after joining my workplace, I performed so well in one match that I amazed everyone and instantly became famous. . . :lol
It’s not about standing out; it’s about things becoming clear when the surface water recedes. It’s not that my skills have improved; it’s that I’ve encountered a group of people who are worse than me. It’s like going to the trouble of preparing a dinner to entertain friends, only for the dish that receives the most praise to be a pot of soup cooked carelessly. Although it’s all praise for you, it still makes me uncomfortable
It’s true that having multiple skills never hurts; they can prove decisive at critical moments.
