I have some Inner Mongolia lignite as well as semi-coke produced from this lignite, and I would like to convert them into activated carbon for desulfurization. I wonder if HaiChuan has anyone with experience in this area who can provide technical support; it would be great if they could offer a general plan. Activated carbon is relatively easy to produce, but to achieve good desulfurization effects, it needs to be modified to a certain extent, that is, by increasing its alkalinity.
I suggest you get in touch with some experts and professors specializing in activated carbon at China University of Mining and Technology; they have extensive experience in production as well as in theoretical design. Unfortunately, I don’t have their contact information.
There are many coal-based activated carbon manufacturers in Tangshan and Shanxi. If the quantity you need isn’t large, we can just process it for you! Otherwise, building your own Slep furnace would be very expensive! !
