Registered Safety Engineer and Intermediate Professional Title

Many documents stipulate that registered safety engineers should be treated on an equal footing with those holding intermediate professional titles. However, documents are only useful if they are put into practice – so how many registered safety engineers can actually enjoy such equal treatment? I usually come into contact with quite a few people in the field of safety engineering, but my company can hire only a limited number of them. I wonder how many of you who work in this field have had your salaries increased?
I’m not registering because there’s no salary increase; I just keep the license in the bottom of a box.
I didn’t know about it; I only found out about the Certified Safety Officer exam last year. I signed up to take it this year, but I’m not sure what the future holds. I used to work shifts; at least I don’t have to anymore.
The provisions in the document are something that few people will pay attention to. Professional titles are generally assigned by the personnel department, while certificates for safety professionals are obtained through examinations; it’s not clear whether the personnel department recognizes them, and this requires **communication between various organizations**.

What are you joking about? A practice license and a professional title are two different things! Also, why should safety engineer certificates be treated as equivalent to intermediate professional titles! With exams that can be passed so easily these days, do you still want to pursue an intermediate professional title?
If you take the safety engineer exam just to get a small certificate or for a salary increase, then don’t take it.
Professional titles have long been an old method of salary motivation in state-owned enterprises. For positions such as engineers, the enterprises themselves organize evaluation committees to conduct assessments; naturally, the engineers so identified are employed by those same enterprises, and there is little mobility in such positions. As for those with titles like economist, which are obtained through national examinations, they seem to have little value and thus end up being practically useless. The regulations on safety engineer management specify that being a safety engineer is a type of professional qualification, that is, a license required to work in the field of safety; it has absolutely nothing to do with professional titles.
I work in the field of safety; my professional title is technician. This year I have applied to become a certified safety engineer, with the exam scheduled for September 6th and 7th.
