What are the “critical plant-wide facilities” referred to in the standards? Those in Table 3.2.11
I’m also looking for data and information on fire protection regulations; could anyone with expertise give me some guidance? Thank you! !
Control room, large tank farm, main substation, etc. It refers to those facilities that, when they experience an accident, cause severe harm, lead to many casualties, have a significant impact, and result in heavy losses.
Important facilities throughout the plant are described in the glossary of Appendix 1 to GB50160-92: these refer to the plant-wide central control room, plant-wide boiler rooms and on-site power stations, the main power transformation and distribution room, telecommunications stations, the centralized control rooms for the storage and transportation of liquefied hydrocarbons and flammable liquids, the plant-wide air compression station, fire stations, fire pump rooms, the central laboratory, the plant management office building, first aid stations, nursing stations, and other facilities that, in the event of a fire, could affect the entire plant or cause serious casualties

There is a 2008 version of GB50160; you can obtain it online and that will solve the issue.
