Azeotropic distillation of dichloromethane

In the production of dichloromethane, **boiling drying is used; sudden increases or decreases in the liquid level inside the tower, along with large fluctuations in this level, result in poor drying efficiency and a high water content in the dichloromethane. I wonder if anyone with experience in this area could share their insights? I would be very grateful for any advice!
The packing inside the packed tower has scattered. Also, I’m not sure whether you are using hot water or steam; another possibility is that the tower is blocked and needs to be cleaned
