Why is the accuracy of the laser-based on-line gas oxygen content analyzer related to the purity of the purge nitrogen, and why is nitrogen purging necessary?
If the nitrogen purge is turned off, its laser transmittance cannot be guaranteed, and as a result, no measurements can be taken; Nitrogen purging ensures that the laser receiver is not contaminated by impurities such as tar, which could otherwise cause errors!

If the purity of nitrogen is low, it may be due to poor screening by the molecular sieve; the oxygen contained in the nitrogen introduced into the system is also counted as part of the oxygen content in the gas being measured, resulting in an inflated measurement value. To prevent the laser lens from being clogged by impurities, it is recommended to use a bypass laser oxygen content analyzer of the TR-9200 model; no high-purity nitrogen purge is required, and its performance is also good
What should be the flow rate of nitrogen for purging a single unit?
Since the oxygen content in the purge gas has a significant impact on the oxygen concentration measured during the process, it is best for the oxygen concentration in the purge gas to be less than 0.01%
As mentioned above: the reasons for using nitrogen purging are well understood by everyone; blockages can affect the measurement values. However, there are no strict requirements regarding whether a purge operation with high-purity nitrogen is necessary.
