I really hate this kind of behavior; I usually wear earplugs. Or in-ear Bluetooth headphones.
First, is it possible to communicate with them by speaking in a lower volume? If that’s not possible, then wear headphones or work on improving one’s focus so as to remain unaffected by external distractions
