What is the main purpose of high-pressure nitrogen in water-coal slurry gasification? Is it used to protect the thermocouples in the gasifier?

As mentioned above, high-pressure nitrogen in water-coal slurry gasification is primarily used to support the safety system. Before introducing oxygen along with the feed material, a nitrogen shield is established between the oxygen inlet valve and the oxygen flow control valve, to ensure that the oxygen flow rate does not become too high during oxygen introduction.
It involves purging the entire gasification system with nitrogen.
The person on the 2nd floor misled everyone; high-pressure nitrogen is not used in that way in coal water slurry gasification. That’s just another application for high-pressure nitrogen, and yet they still got a reward for it! ! I have some doubts regarding the second use case mentioned by friend linfan78 on the 3rd floor; generally, the nitrogen used for sealing is nitrogen that has been depressurized from high-pressure nitrogen. For example, the high-pressure nitrogen used in 4.0 MPa gasification furnaces is at 12.0 MPa, while the nitrogen used for sealing is at 7.5 MPa; if one insists on calling it high-pressure nitrogen as well, that’s certainly possible!
It’s off-topic; the term “hugging” refers to coal water slurry, not pulverized coal. Please pay attention to the question – and yet they still give scores for this! I’m sorry for finding faults with you! :P should have sealed nitrogen protection as its main function, with displacement being the secondary function. High-pressure nitrogen refers to nitrogen at a pressure of 12 MPa. During normal operation, the pressure-taking tube at the furnace head uses nitrogen not only to blow away the ash and slag carried out by the gasification furnace but also to serve a cooling purpose ; II.
