Autumn is colorful: blue is the sky, white are the clouds, yellow are the leaves, and red are the flowers…… The world too is adorned with these beautiful colors; suddenly one realizes that autumn isn’t actually that sad – it’s just that many poets have turned it into verses filled with sorrow! Recollections of beautiful pictures and scenes from the past: The journey of life is one of taking steps forward, with one’s mindset guiding the way as we search for spring along the rivers and seas. In Haichuan, we can see handcrafted leaf paintings; we can admire ink paintings depicting autumn rain in the Jiangnan region. There, we can see Guangzhou’s “Little Waist”; we can observe mushrooms, as well as true seas of flowers. We can see plum blossoms, flowers representing the four seasons, lilies of the valley, osmanthus flowers, chrysanthemums, and flowers that bloom in spring. In Haichuan, we can also see lanterns, seas of flowers, rapeseed flowers, peony flowers, cherry blossoms, plum blossoms, wisteria flowers, hydrangeas, and a multitude of blooming flowers. There are also the various costumes worn by bald monks. In Haichuan, we can see red plum blossoms in bloom. Willows sway along the Su Causeway, with apricot blossoms covering the branches. After the rain, plum blossoms appear; after a spring rain, magnolia trees come into view. Walking in spring, cherry blossoms bloom, and a sense of prosperity fills the air. There are small bridges over flowing waters, and rain falls in the distance. It’s the season of autumn, and lanterns illuminate the night.
