The crushed coal slag pressurized gasification furnace developed by Yunnan Jiehua Company is based on technology introduced from the British company ADVANTICA (which has since been transferred to the German company LRS). By using locally mined Xiaolongtan lignite as raw material, and through pilot tests and scale-up experiments, an independent technology with certain intellectual property rights was developed. The industrial facility was completed and put into operation at the end of 2008; it has been in use for over a year now, but it has not yet reached its designed production capacity. It can be said that the technology is still under continuous improvement.
