Ten years since graduation, and I finally got a big project to work on on my own: building a 30-meter chimney. The construction will take two months, and the cost is 300,000, though I need to put up the initial funds myself. It was finally finished at the end of last year. Today they went for the inspection and were scolded mercilessly; they still haven’t gotten their money ; Damn it, I turned the drawings around; they want to dig a well that’s 30 meters deep. . . . After two years in engineering, I lost my partner; after five years, I lost my friends; after eight years, I lost my youth. So what’s the point of working in engineering? ? My elementary school classmates are showing off their babies, my middle school classmates are sharing news of their weddings, and my high school classmates are posting about their salaries. What about me? The weather is nice; let’s air out the quilts! ! ! Those who get up early are the ones in engineering and the scrap collectors. Those who stay up late are people in the engineering field and those working in massage parlors. Those who can’t eat on time are construction workers and beggars. It are those involved in construction and drug trafficking who are living in fear. Those who work overtime without compensatory time off are those in the construction industry and street vendors. Those in engineering and the criminal world find it very difficult to withdraw once they join. Those who can’t go home for the holidays are those in the construction industry and those serving time in labor reform camps. Please cherish the friends in the engineering field around you, as they truly have it hard. Earning money by selling cabbages, but thinking like someone who sells drugs; and yet people keep saying, \"It must be the easiest job for you people.\" Want to go out for dinner tomorrow? I’m sorry, I’m at work. Should we go on a trip? I’m sorry, I’m at work. Come to my birthday party? I’m sorry, I’m at work. I’m getting married tomorrow; you must come and attend! I’m sorry, I’m at work… Gradually, my friends stopped contacting me because they knew I didn’t have time, as I was working. Sometimes I feel really guilty towards my family and friends, as I work day and night; even when I try to rest, I don’t have enough energy to spend time with them... Thank you for your understanding and tolerance. To those friends we haven’t been in touch with for a long time, you are always in my heart!
Working in construction isn’t that tough, right? There are migrant workers who work in construction and end up buying cars, houses, and having mistresses in the city; there are also small contractors who end up becoming CEOs of listed companies. It depends on how it’s done. The New Year is approaching; I wish every family in the engineering industry to have a listed company.
Wishes to all those involved in chemical engineering construction, including those in engineering design and project execution
Very vivid and logical. Like it.
In fact, it’s not easy to work in that industry!
“The drawing was shown upside down; they actually want to dig a well that is 30 meters deep.” :lol
