What’s the situation with Shenglong Coking Plant? Judging from its scale, it seems to be of medium size!
I have been to Shenglong Coking; its processes and management are both good.
This coal coking enterprise is currently carrying out a technical upgrade project with a capacity of 1.3 million tons of coke and 150,000 tons of methanol per year; the design capacity is 1.3 million tons of coke and 150,000 tons of methanol annually. The planned project covers an area of 700 mu, with a total investment of 1.6 billion yuan. The construction period is 24 months. The design makes use of the state-of-the-art TJL5550D type ramming coke oven available in China, and one-third of the coking coal from Zaozhuang Coal Mining Group and surrounding coal mines is used as the main raw material to produce secondary metallurgical coke. At the same time, coke oven gas is recovered to produce methanol products. Once this technical upgrade project is put into operation, together with its subsidiary Tongtai Coking Company, Shenglong Company will ultimately achieve a production capacity of 3 million tons of coke and 330,000 tons of methanol per year. The project was designed by Saiding Engineering Company and Beijing Zhongliansheng Chemical Engineering Company, and was constructed by units such as the Group’s Zhongxing Jianan Company.
