I. Introduction
The State Council has recently issued the “Development Plan for the Next Generation of Artificial Intelligence,” which outlines the guiding principles, strategic goals, key tasks, and safeguard measures for the development of this technology in China by 2030. The plan aims to establish a competitive advantage for China in the field of artificial intelligence and to accelerate the construction of an innovative country as well as a world-leading scientific and technological power. Artificial intelligence in our country has entered a new stage of development. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology implements the directives of the State Council, actively promotes the development of the artificial intelligence industry, and fosters the integration of artificial intelligence with the real economy. Wuhan currently has over 3,000 professionals working in the field of artificial intelligence research and development. The investment in R&D in these areas has exceeded 400 million yuan over the past three years. It is estimated that the total output value of this industry will reach nearly 2 billion yuan by 2018, with an average annual growth rate of over 98%. With the establishment of companies such as Xiaomi’s AI headquarters, Hikvision, and iFlytek in Wuhan in recent years, it is expected that the total output value of the city’s artificial intelligence industry will exceed 10 billion yuan by 2020. The goal is to turn Wuhan into a well-known hub for artificial intelligence innovation and an industrial cluster both domestically and internationally. Against this backdrop, the \"2019 China (Wuhan) Artificial Intelligence Industry Expo\", jointly organized by the Hubei Artificial Intelligence Society, the China Optics Valley Artificial Intelligence Industry Alliance, and the Hubei E-commerce Industry Association, and hosted by Wuhan Zhongzhi Chuangpin Business Exhibition Co., Ltd. and Zhengzhou Qianyu Exhibition Co., Ltd., will be held from April 18 to 20, 2019, at the Wuhan Optics Valley Science and Technology Exhibition Center. Under the theme of \"Intelligent Technology, Embracing the Future\", this exhibition will serve as a platform for technical exchanges, trade cooperation, and brand enhancement within the artificial intelligence industry, providing greater opportunities for enterprises at all stages of this sector to interact with one another. ?
