A well-known foreign-owned chemical plant in Guangdong is seeking a maintenance supervisor (with the potential to be promoted to manager). English is required as the working language; the position involves working during daytime shifts. The monthly salary ranges from 10,000 to 15,000 yuan, with an annual salary equivalent to 15.5 times the monthly amount, and there are two opportunities for high-paying bonuses per year. Main Responsibilities / MAIN MISSIONS§ In accordance with the company’s maintenance department’s standard operating procedures and best practices, as well as safety, quality, and environmental standards, manage and coordinate all maintenance activities related to mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment on the production lines. Manages and coordinates all preventive and corrective maintenance activities related to mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems on the production lines; these tasks are carried out under his/her supervision in accordance with AXCHEM’s maintenance SOPs, best practice standards, and in compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental regulations. § To achieve the set maintenance objectives, as well as to provide guidance and instructions to external contractors and the company’s own maintenance staff regarding operations and technical aspects. Provides operational and technical instructions and guidelines to maintenance contractors and AXCHEM staff to achieve and meet maintenance objectives. § Motivates and manages all workers, technicians, and managers within the company. Manages and oversees all AXCHEM teams, technicians, and management staff. Analyzes all data related to maintenance activities, and proposes improvements in terms of production processes, equipment, organization, quality, and safety management. Analyzes all managed maintenance operation data to identify recurring problems and provide solutions. Key requirements: § 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience in the petrochemical industry, continuous process systems, reactions, or the chemical industry; § Preference will be given to those with experience working in joint ventures or wholly-owned companies.
