“The sun shines high in the sky, and the flowers smile at me. The little bird said, “Good morning! Why are you carrying a **bag**?” I went to blow up the school; the teacher didn’t know. As soon as I pulled the string, I ran away, and with a boom, the school disappeared! ” Yesterday (the 29th) afternoon, blasting operations were carried out on the teaching buildings at the former western campus of Anhui University of Science and Technology; the person in charge of this project was a student who graduated from that university’s program in Ammunition Engineering and Explosive Technology 13 years ago. Netizens whose childhood “dreams” had come true joked that this graduate truly used what he had learned in his field of study to contribute to the development of his school, thus giving back to his alma mater. https://i.guancha.cn/news/mainland/2019/01/30/20190130170821198.gif After blasting operations were carried out on the teaching buildings at the former western campus of Anhui University of Science and Technology yesterday, screenshots of a counselor from that university’s social media accounts went viral. In the article, he said that the first class of students he taught in the field of ammunition engineering and explosive technology actually blew up the campus building outright! https://i.guancha.cn/news/mainland/2019/01/30/20190130172011956.jpg https://i.guancha.cn/news/mainland/2019/01/30/20190130172025345.jpg In the blink of an eye, my alma mater was reduced to ashes
Wish my alma mater, Nanjing University of Chemical Technology, prosperity!
Does South University of Technology also have a similar major? ? ?
Anhui University of Science and Technology is a key high-level university under development in Anhui Province. It is a university jointly established by Anhui Province and the Ministry of Emergency Management of the People’s Republic of China. It is also one of the universities supported by the Project to Enhance the Fundamental Capabilities of Universities in the Central and Western Regions, and it is part of the Ministry of Education’s \"Excellence in Engineering Education Program\". In 2006, the university received an excellent rating in the Ministry of Education’s assessment of undergraduate teaching quality. The school covers an area of nearly 3,500 mu, with a building area of almost 800,000 square meters. Founded in 1945, it is the first engineering university in Anhui Province and one of the first two universities in China to begin training mining professionals. In 1955, the school was upgraded from Huainan Coal Mining Technical College to Hefei Mining Institute. In 1958, it was renamed Hefei University of Technology. In 1971, the disciplines and programs related to coal mining were transferred as a whole back to Huainan, where they merged with Huainan Coal Mining School (which was established from the remaining elements of Hefei Mining Institute after most of its staff moved to Mount Tai in Shandong in 1963) to form Huainan Coal Institute. After that, it went through periods as Huainan Mining Institute and Huainan Industrial Institute; during this time, the former East China Coal Medical College and Huainan Chemical Engineering School were merged into it one after another. In 1998, the school was transferred from the Ministry of Coal Industry to Anhui Province, adopting a management system of \"joint development by the central and local governments, with local governance taking precedence.\" In 2002, the school was renamed Anhui University of Science and Technology.
Whenever I think of my alma mater, I am reminded of the elementary school where I attended in the 1970s. The elementary school is built on a slope. Starting from grade 3, there are many labor classes at school. Whenever there was a labor class, when going to school every day, one had to bring a bamboo basket. In the labor class, the tasks involved digging slopes, lifting soil, and leveling the playground. I can’t remember how many grades in the higher levels participated; by the time we graduated from elementary school, a track with a perimeter of 200 meters was built on the flat playground. . During those two and a half years of working at the elementary school, sometimes Grandpa Mao passed away, so we had to turn our sorrow into motivation and keep working; other times the Gang of Four was overthrown, and we had to work to restore order; yet at other times the college entrance exams were reinstated, and we had to work hard by following Chen Jingrun’s example. As a result, our clothes and shoes got dirty and torn very quickly, and the bamboo baskets I used also broke several times. That’s why my mother often slapped me and twisted my face. . As for my alma mater, it means absolutely nothing to me; it’s not something that evokes any positive feelings. It’s a form of exploitation with no rewards, a persistent cloud of negativity......
The New Year is coming; it’s a time to reflect on the hardships and joys of the past......
In primary school, we spent 2 and a half years digging soil to build a playground; in junior high, we spent another 3 years carrying bricks to construct classrooms. My youth was spent on forced labor. . .
