Anhui University of Science and Technology is a key high-level university under development in Anhui Province. It is a university jointly established by Anhui Province and the Ministry of Emergency Management of the People’s Republic of China. It is also one of the universities supported by the Project to Enhance the Fundamental Capabilities of Universities in the Central and Western Regions, and it is part of the Ministry of Education’s \"Excellence in Engineering Education Program\".
