When there is an electrostatic ground, the flow speed of benzene and liquids with similar properties in pipelines should not exceed 1 m/s. In such cases, how should a transfer pump be selected – a centrifugal pump? Gear pump? Or something else? Avoid using gear pumps; centrifugal pumps can be considered. For flammable and explosive materials, shielded pumps are a better choice

What about from the perspective of electrostatic protection? I think centrifugal pumps are not suitable, as the flow velocity inside the pump chamber is high; if the impeller has a diameter of 160 and the rotation speed is 1450, the flow velocity at the outer edge can still reach 12 m/s
