I was shelling corn today, and right after I finished, I started to show symptoms of a cold: chills all over my body, coughing, and a runny nose. All the people here who have removed corn kernels say that they catch a cold after doing so; not one of them makes an exception, and they say there are germs in the corn. Who can invent a way to remove corn kernels without catching a cold? What’s the situation with you removing the corn kernels?
