Introduction to the exhibition: At present, building energy consumption in China accounts for nearly 30% of the country’s total energy consumption, and there are issues such as high energy use, low efficiency, and high pollution levels. The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development has released figures indicating that by 2020, investment in building energy-saving projects in China is expected to reach at least 1.5 trillion yuan. With the introduction of the coordinated development plan for the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, Tianjin has been designated as a \"one zone and three bases\". The advantages of prefabricated buildings, pre-engineered structures, mobile homes, and modular construction methods in terms of speed, energy efficiency, and environmental sustainability make them well-suited to meet the needs of rapid urban development and large-scale construction projects. At present, **strong support is being given to the development of green buildings and industrialized housing.** The use of prefabricated housing methods is being adopted in newly built social housing, public rental housing, and new urban areas, which in turn drives the industries involved in the construction sector and helps create new industrial chains. As a result, China’s industrialized prefabricated housing sector is facing a new wave of excellent opportunities. The 2019 CIGBE Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Prefabricated Building Exhibition will leverage existing resources and adopt the concept of creating \"innovative, safe, and beautiful ecosystems while providing comprehensive solutions for green buildings.\" It has attracted well-known exhibitors from 17 countries and regions around the world.
