What is the current price for simulating silicone distillation towers? In other words, what is the cost of the distillation section in a silicone engineering project?

In fact, at present in China, for silicone distillation, it is generally the packing manufacturers that provide the software packages, while the design institutes are responsible for the engineering design.

I have dealt with many cases involving sieve plate towers; as long as it is possible to determine the specific components, internal component manufacturers will carry out the calculations. Institutions such as Tianjin University and Hebei University of Technology can also do this kind of calculation, and the results obtained from software simulations are fairly similar. However, when moving from these simulations to actual design, some empirical considerations come into play. For example, what value should be used for plate efficiency? What is the heat transfer coefficient?
Packing companies sell packing materials, and they develop software packages as well in order to sell those packing materials. The profit from a good software package is not necessarily lower than that from selling packing materials; if no money is made from the software packages, then who will be responsible for them? Some design institutes are not very responsible; after receiving the design, they break it down and assign some of the work to filler manufacturers in order to profit from it.
