Notice for the 11th International Oil and Gas Summit Forum

On March 27–28, 2019, the annual World Petroleum Equipment Conference was held concurrently with the 11th International Oil and Gas Summit Forum. This forum featured sessions on “Oil and Gas Exploration and Development,” “Smart Oilfields and Digital Factories,” as well as a dedicated session on natural gas. Those who were invited to attend the opening ceremony included Gu Xiulian, Vice Chairman of the 10th Ren Da**, Ma Peihua, Vice Chairman of the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Li Yizhong, former Minister of Industry and Information Technology and President of the China Industrial Economics Federation, renowned academicians and scholars from home and abroad, experts in industry policy analysis, representatives from educational institutions, and senior executives from leading companies; in total, the forum brought together 500 participants. To gain a deeper understanding of exploration and development in the oil and gas industry as well as the application of intelligent oil fields, the organizing committee has invited a number of experts, including Gao Deli, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences; Li Yuxi, a researcher at the Mineral Resources Reserve Evaluation Center of the Ministry of Land and Resources; Anna Bai, Deputy Director of International Business Development at GEOSPLIT LLC; Liu Zhizhong, Vice President of Marketing for Emerson in the Asia-Pacific region, Deputy Director of the Information Center of Shengli Oilfield, and Director of the Internet of Things Technology Department at Dagang Oilfield; Yuankong Yuan, Chief Engineer at SinoPetro Yingke and China National Chemical Energy Technology Co., Ltd.; Shi Peixin, President of Huawei and Beijing NeuCloud Technology Co., Ltd.; as well as others. These experts will discuss topics such as typical cases of the Internet’s impact on the petroleum industry, the effects of the Internet on the intelligent transformation of traditional manufacturing industries, and the construction of digital oil field sites in an environment driven by intelligent Internet of Things technologies.
