As the title suggests, this heater consumes a lot of power – is it really necessary? What’s it for? Who can teach me? I don’t understand it
The heater warms the sealing air to prevent dew formation and corrosion inside the baffle; it is usually installed in all cases!
Heaters generally do not corrode, as the cold medium is air! If you think the power consumption is high, you can use steam heating!
What is the temperature of the sealed air after heating? Is it sufficient for it to be above the dew point, or does it need to have the same temperature as the flue gas?
After heating, it is usually around 100 degrees. When the baffle door is closed, a sealing fan is turned on to prevent smoke leakage; if cold air is used, condensation will occur, so an electric heater is needed to heat the air. But now many sealed fans don’t come equipped with electric heaters, which is strange.

Actually, I think it’s a bit of a stretch to say that sealing the air is done to prevent corrosion, as the baffles are designed with anti-corrosion measures in mind based on the operating conditions. Still, I’m not sure why heating is necessary either
