Is chemical cleaning required for the desulfurization and decarbonization equipment in a newly built methanol plant? Thank you all
It is necessary; chemical cleaning can remove certain chemicals and form a protective layer on the pipe walls to safeguard them. This post was last edited by 7122 on 2008-9-2 15:48]
Previously, in the process of thermal potassium-alkali decarburization, acid washing was carried out first, followed by soft water washing, then alkali washing (during which substances such as vanadium pentoxide and other chemicals were used), and again alkali washing; the purpose of these steps was the cleaning mentioned above and the formation of an oxide film
In methanol production, there’s quite a lot of cooled paraffin, which is difficult to clean. There’s nothing else really. Besides, major overhauls are carried out at most once a year
The question isn’t phrased very professionally; at least, you should first determine your choice of desulfurization and decarbonization processes.
Generally speaking, chemical cleaning is required
Our county is located in central Shanxi and has abundant coal resources. I intend to process coal tar into diesel; I would appreciate any advice from those with experience in this field! There are no barriers to working here, and those who come from this area are especially welcome! 13935809448
The reason why the NHD absorption system is degreased before receiving the solution is that although NHD itself is non-corrosive, when water is present in it and H2S and CO2 dissolve therein, corrosion of carbon steel equipment and pipelines can still occur; therefore, many components of the system are made of stainless steel. Once grease gets mixed into the NHD solvent, its properties change: its boiling point decreases, its vapor pressure increases, and its ability to absorb H2S and CO2 is reduced. Therefore, to eliminate the impact of grease on the NHD solvent, the system must be degreased before the solution is introduced.
For the low-temperature methanol washing process, we do not have industrial cleaning services!
