How bag filters work: What is process water and air used for?
Water is used to clean the materials, while air is used to dry them
Could you give me a picture? I have never seen a bag filter equipped with process water
I’ve also never seen a bag filter with process water; please someone post a picture to take a look.
The bag filter is a new type of filtration system; inside the filter, the filter bags are supported by metal wire baskets. Fluid flows in through the inlet, is filtered by the filter bags, and then exits through the outlet. Impurities get trapped in the filter bags, and the filter can continue to be used after the bags are replaced. It is an inevitable trend for bag filters to partially replace cartridge filters: 1. Bag filters have a large processing capacity, small size, and high dirt holding capacity. The effective filtration area of one No. 2 filter bag is equivalent to that of 20 10″ filter elements. From both cost and efficiency perspectives, filter bags are superior to filter elements. 2. Based on the working principle and structure of the bag filtration system, replacing the filter bags is convenient and fast, and the filtration unit requires no cleaning, saving labor and time. 3. The probability of side leakage from the filter bags is very low, which effectively ensures high filtering quality; whereas the probability of side leakage from the filter elements is higher, with the number of instances of side leakage for n filter elements reaching 2n! 4. Bag filtration can withstand higher operating pressures, has low pressure loss, low operating costs, and significant energy-saving effects. 5. The filtration precision of filter bags is continuously improving; it has now reached 0.5μm, and to a large extent they can replace cartridge-type filters. 6. Bag filters have a wide range of applications, are flexible to use, and come in various installation methods. 7. It can be used in combination with self-cleaning, membrane filtration, or other types of filtration systems to meet various requirements.
