The Yellow River roars....... 80 years ago today, the most stirring notes of the Chinese nation’s musical epic – \"The Yellow River Cantata\" – were performed for the first time in the auditorium of the \"Shaanxi North Public School\" in Yan’an, in a scene of unprecedented scale. This epic masterpiece that reflects the Chinese nation’s liberation struggle spread rapidly throughout the country, becoming a call for the entire nation to achieve victory in the war of resistance. 80 years later, the spirit of perseverance embodied by the Yellow River continues to inspire millions of Chinese people, prompting countless individuals to sing this anthem of the nation time and again. As a great work born at a critical moment for the survival of the Chinese nation, The Yellow River Cantata is a milestone in Chinese culture, inspiring generation after generation of Chinese people.
