Is there a formula for determining the standard temperature of coke ovens, or is it determined based on experience? This post was last edited by ryn on 2009-2-18 17:01]
Yes, I’m off today. I’ll tell you when I go to work tomorrow. You can also tell me your email address and I’ll send it there.
Our company’s policies are set by the Production and Technology Department; the coking workshop does not have the authority to make decisions: L

The main purpose is to measure the temperature at the center of the coke cake in order to determine the standard temperature for the coke oven
1. It is necessary to adapt to the turnaround time. 2. The requirements for the maturity of the coke cakes must be met. 3. Energy-saving considerations should be taken into account to avoid waste. 4. Sufficient space is needed to accommodate fluctuations in production; in short, one cannot follow everything as written in the books – practical considerations are more important.
It is mainly determined based on the center temperature of the coke cake, under the premise of maintaining stable production at present.
It is mainly determined based on coking time, coal moisture, and the calorific value of the heated gas; ultimately, the target is for the temperature at the center of the coke cake to reach 950–1050 degrees. .
The determination of the standard temperature for coke ovens is based on the following principles: 1. Temperature at the center of the coke cake; 2. Type of oven; 3. Properties of the coal fed into the oven; 4. Annual average moisture content of the blended coal; 5. Duration of coking process; 6. Level of thermal control; 7. Type of gas used for heating; 8. Visual inspection of the coke cake during extraction, in order to determine whether the set temperature is reasonable. Attached are the reference values for the standard temperature of JN43-80 type coke ovens.
