In the 2019 World Athletics Championships 4*100 relay final, the Chinese men’s team finished in fourth place

On May 12th, Beijing time, the 2019 IAAF World Relays continued in Yokohama, Japan. In the final of the men’s 4×100m relay, the Chinese team led by Su Bingtian and Xie Zhenye finished in 4th place with a time of 38.16 seconds, falling just 0.01 seconds short of making it to the podium. The Brazilian team won the gold medal with a time of 38.05 seconds, while the American team secured the silver medal with a time of 38.07 seconds ； The British team won the bronze medal with a time of 38.15 seconds.
In the previously concluded final of the women’s 4×200m relay, the Chinese team won silver with a time of 1 minute and 32.76 seconds, setting a new Asian record; this was the best result achieved by the Chinese team at relay world championships to date.
