I was wondering if anyone has used the ethylene compressors and hydrogen compressors produced by Wuxi Compressor Factory. I hope everyone can share their experiences regarding the performance of these units – are they reliable?
In my opinion, Wuxi is quite strong in the manufacturing industry of reciprocating compressors; in particular, its systems for small and medium-sized units are well-developed, and it has extensive experience in developing hydrogen compressors as well as other petrochemical compressors. Of course, the decision depends on whether the company has units that utilize identical or similar process and technical conditions; at the same time, it is necessary to clearly articulate your technical requirements and control strategies, in other words, to express your technical implementation requirements clearly in order to select a suitable manufacturer’s proposal.
Hello, someone upstairs. May I ask for your QQ number? I’d like to ask you some questions on QQ. Thank you!
The six reciprocating compressors used in our hydrogen production facility have been operating without pressure for two years, and aside from some wear-and-tear parts, there are no major issues
The tin pressing technology is quite good; after all, Sinopec and CNPC have been cooperating with them for many years, so there’s an abundance of hydrogen, ethylene, and other such materials. The largest one they make now is 2D100. I heard they have moved to a new factory site; you can go and take a look if you have time.
1 The products of Wuxi Compressor Factory mainly cover piston forces of medium and low levels, such as those below 40 tons. Users of large-tonnage compressors have not yet chosen to use them. Wuxi Compressor Factory is also a former state-owned enterprise that has been restructured; it possesses considerable strength, and its products can operate in a relatively stable manner
A couple of days ago I attended an event related to the nitrogen compressors produced by our workshop’s Wuxi Compressor Factory. The compressors themselves had no problems – the vibration and temperature levels were fine – but the quality of construction was very poor; there are many areas that could be improved, and significant room for enhancement exists.
What is the maximum piston force that can be achieved by the compressors produced by Wuxi Compressor Factory?
Its filler cooling has its own unique features: it uses hollow shaft oil cooling, which yields good results. For the outlet check valve, Holbig’s silent-type check valve is sometimes chosen (it works on the same principle as a pressure relief valve); it has a low pressure drop and reliable backflow prevention. The downside is that the pipeline must be thoroughly purged before it is first put into use, otherwise blockages can occur, which may even cause the safety valve to activate.
Many of the small units are from Wuxi; I’ve never used the large ones
