Silicon carbide belongs to the category of emery; in many cases, emery is also referred to as silicon carbide, although this is not actually the case. However, due to its properties, many customers, including emery manufacturers, consider the price of silicon carbide to be a bit high; but given the practical realities, it’s not possible to reduce the price.
