After leaving Wu Zhi’s house, he felt that Wu Zhi wasn’t helping him and wasn’t showing any brotherly loyalty; he thought to himself, if you’re not kind, then don’t blame me for being unkind. So they performed rap songs in the villages and posted posters, all containing content that insulted and slandered Wu Zhi and Pan Jinlian.
