On July 6th, Beijing time, the Chinese men’s basketball team played its first match of this year’s NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, against the Miami Heat. Yi Jianlian was absent from this Summer League due to an injury. Zhou Qi and Ding Yanyuhang had average performances in their first appearances back in the team’s pre-season matches this summer; Zhou Qi scored 8 points and 8 rebounds, while Ding left the game early with only 3 points scored. Wang Zhelin recorded the highest scores for the team, with 12 points and 14 rebounds.
