Jinan West Station, also known as Jinan West Passenger Station, is located on Qilu Avenue in Huaiyin District, Jinan City, Shandong Province, to the west of the former Zhangzhuang Airport. It is under the jurisdiction of China Railway Jinan Group Co., Ltd. Jinan West Station is a passenger station for the Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Railway, the Zhengzhou-Jinan High-Speed Railway, and the Shijiazhuang-Jinan Passenger Dedicated Line. The Jiaoji Passenger Dedicated Line and the Jinan-Qingdao High-Speed Railway also connect to Jinan West Station via connecting lines.
Passenger stations are generally also set up near high-speed railways. Or there is a passenger station directly connected by subway.
Exit the square at Jinan West Station, cross the road and you will find Jinan Bus Terminal on the south side.
I remember the first time I got off there – there were no cars at all, and the area was very empty. A couple of years later, when I went there again, tall buildings had been built in the vicinity, and a passenger terminal had been constructed, though it hadn’t yet started operating.
