Can Aspen calculate process costs? How is it done? Are there any software or methods available?
Which option is it? I’m not sure though whether it’s possible to calculate the kickback. Hehe, it’s something characteristic of China; it’s better not to use this for such calculations
If B-Jac is used, it is possible to calculate the cost of heat exchangers; as for the others, I’m not very sure. But as far as I know, for things like towers, it’s better to use specialized software for the calculations, as this involves various calculation processes
It seems that PROII has this feature.
How is it possible to calculate design costs using simulation software? This is something your boss needs to discuss with the design institute in order to negotiate a lower price – there’s no standard! If you need to conduct engineering cost estimates, calculate return on investment, etc., and optimize the entire plant, I recommend the software GRTMPS.
Isn’t it said that Aspen can be used for economic evaluation? Who has done it? Give some brief hints
Some people say that costs can be calculated using capcost. What exactly is capcost?
No way, this can even be calculated? That’s so practical
It can’t be counted; the economic evaluation you’re referring to should mean optimization, and it relates to the economic efficiency of operation.
This doesn’t seem to work, does it? There are too many human factors involved; how can software keep track of that? Hehe
