When maintaining the sensor part of a turbine flowmeter, the following points should be taken into account: 1. During use, it is necessary to keep the medium being measured clean, free from impurities such as fibers and particles. 2. When starting to use a turbine flow sensor, the sensor should first be slowly filled with the medium, and then the outlet valve (which should be installed at the rear end of the flow meter) should be opened. It is strictly prohibited to expose the sensor to high-speed fluid flow when it is empty of medium. 3. The maintenance cycle for turbine flow sensors is generally half a year. During maintenance and cleaning, be careful not to damage the components inside the measurement chamber, especially the impeller. During assembly, pay close attention to the positional relationship between the guide elements and the impeller. 4. When the turbine flowmeter sensor is not in use, the internal medium should be cleaned, dried, and protective covers should be placed at both ends of the sensor to prevent dust from entering; thereafter, it should be stored in a dry place. 5. The filter used should be cleaned regularly; when not in use, its internal medium should be cleaned as well. Similar to sensors, it should be covered with a dust cover and stored in a dry place. 6. Before installing the sensor, blow on or manually rotate the impeller to make it spin rapidly and check whether there is any display; install the sensor only when a display is observed. If it is not displayed, the relevant components should be checked to eliminate the fault. For more information, please visit the company’s official website at http://www.yb1518.com/.
