Raw material consumption quotas, amounts of waste discharged, and the composition of such waste; B. Raw material consumption quotas, amounts of waste discharged, and material balance sheets; C. Amounts of waste discharged and the composition of such waste; D. Raw material consumption quotas. The official answer is B; however, the text in the textbook (the version used for the Chemical Engineering Fundamentals exams published by Tianjin University) states that the correct answer is A. Is this a printing error? Is the answer to the question still wrong? :o Which should be the correct answer? :o
Both A and B are correct. The composition of the three wastes and the data from the material flow balance sheet; this is only a preliminary design, not a construction design.

The original poster thinks it should be A; the material balance sheet is a concentrated representation of the materials in a PFD (Process Flow Diagram), and it is attached to the PFD. Material balance is essential, and it includes the three types of waste
The material balance sheet should include the emissions of the three types of waste.
It seems like A is also correct, so I’m not quite sure
