Under what circumstances is hardwiring used, and what type of connection corresponds to it? ? MODBUS? ?
A circuit composed of actual cables, relays, contactors, and other components, as opposed to a circuit based on software configuration logic. [
Applications of two different systems, such as DCS and SIS. For signals that require continuous adjustment, hard wiring is used (they are connected to the SIS first, and simultaneously to the DCS; the method of connection can be chosen), while for those that only need to be monitored, a communication method is employed (for example, in the case of isolation valves controlled by the SIS system, their on/off signals need to be displayed on the DCS interface).
What was said on the 3rd floor is correct, but signals involving interlocking between the two systems are generally also connected using hard wiring.
Hardwired instrumentation: This refers to the transmission of instrument signals in a point-to-point manner via cables and terminal connections; it is the opposite of signal transmission that takes place through communication using certain protocols.
MODBUS is not a hard-wired method, as the signals it transmits need to be packaged and unpacked using software.
