As the title suggests, is there a requirement for sharing safety experiences during shift handovers in operational positions at your companies? We didn’t have it either before; we learned from a company in the south after visiting them and adopting what they used, and it seems to work well :) It’s just not clear whether there will be real benefits in the long run.
Security experience sharing can be increased, but attention should be paid to time management, with it generally being kept within 5-10 minutes. Recent accidents in the same industry can also be added.
It is very necessary to exchange experiences in this area; operators rarely communicate with each other after changing shifts, and many experiences are lost due to a lack of such communication. The experience of front-line workers is a very valuable asset; it is recommended that shift supervisors keep records, establish a set of rules for the workshop, and then document these rules so that they can be passed down through generations: lol
We don’t have it here yet, as the shift change time is short. It’s at the monthly production meeting.
The shift handover is meant to involve the transfer of process details, and it would be fine to include a five-minute safety reminder or speech during that time
It is usually included in the pre-shift safety talks, especially during the safety sessions at the start of the day shift and the early night shift, where sharing of safety experiences is an essential part.
