The temperature at the bottom of the asphalt reaction kettle cannot be increased; it must remain below 405 degrees. If this temperature exceeds that level, coking occurs very easily, leading to blockages in the pipes at the bottom of the kettle. How can the temperature be raised?
Check whether the burner in the reactor furnace is in good condition, as well as the suction level of the chimney and the air mixing situation; you can try adjusting these settings.

The flue is fairly normal. I had thought about whether it might be the mixing speed or some other reason. But I’ve never tried it. Currently, some domestic manufacturers have adequate technology, but this is a problem for a large portion of them. The heating of medium-temperature asphalt in asphalt reaction kettles should be carried out using more than 2 kettles; the load on any single kettle should not be too high. In our factory, the temperature at the bottom of the reaction kettles is kept between 390 and 410 degrees, with adjustments made according to the specifications of medium-temperature asphalt and modified asphalt. Currently, this temperature is generally kept below 400 degrees. The cause of blockages at the bottom of the reactor is generally due to the accumulation of slag in the asphalt, rather than high temperatures within the reactor. In particular, if the slag that accumulates on the reactor walls during previous operation cycles is not removed thoroughly, it can easily cause blockages in the pipes at the bottom of the reactor during subsequent operation cycles.
The reactor here also has its temperature controlled at 396–405 degrees. Once the temperature rises, it needs to be blocked. I was thinking whether it would be possible to increase the mixing speed, or to make the combustion in the furnace more uniform. But I don’t know if it’s feasible or not.
